About KAS Wellness
Discover a new way to wellness. KAS offers a serene, sensory-driven experience that is crafted to quiet the mind, calm the body, and reset the nervous system.
Rooted in ASMR, our techniques activate the body’s natural “rest and restore” mode — helping to reduce cortisol, lower heart rate, and release tension stored in both muscles and the mind. You’ll feel lighter, clearer, and deeply present, as layers of sound, touch, and intentional stillness guide you into complete tranquility.
This is not a massage. It’s not a facial. It’s an entirely unique experience.
At KAS, every detail — from the curated sounds to the lighting, temperature, and scent — is designed to immerse you in calm and reconnect you with your body’s natural state of balance.
Our philosophy
KAS was created from one core belief: ASMR is the future of wellness.
For decades, massage has been positioned as the primary form of restorative touch. Yet by definition, massage is often corrective and physical—designed to work through tension, soreness, and often includes pain or discomfort. Many massage environments have become standardized and impersonal, focused on technique rather than human attunement. While effective for muscle relief, they often overlook the deeper layers of restoration. It never made sense to our founder that one of the world’s most consumed forms content, which millions use for nervous-system regulation existed solely on a screen, with no meaningful real-world application. We followed our own wishes for the massage industry and love for ASMR to bring it into the physical realm—transforming it into an in-person wellness experience.
If you have sore muscles, get a massage.
If you want a full body, mind, and soul reset—come to KAS.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is ASMR?
ASMR, or Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response, is a physical and emotional response to gentle sensory stimulation — like binaural sounds, nurturing touch, or sensory tools. These triggers create a tingling, wave-like sensation that begins at the scalp and moves through the body, signaling the nervous system that it’s safe to relax.
ASMR acts like a natural stress reliever, engaging the body’s built-in mechanisms for deep relaxation and emotional well-being. These benefits are backed from studies at places like Harvard, The NIH, and more. Click the “studies” tab to see more scientific studies about ASMR
ASMR has been shown to release endorphins such as dopamine, serotonin, and oxytocin, helping to slow the heart rate, lower cortisol levels, and ease both muscular and mental tension.
The result is a deep sense of comfort, clarity, and connection — the kind of calm most people rarely reach in daily life.
From our earliest days, touch is essential to regulation. As infants and children, gentle, nurturing contact is one of the primary ways our nervous systems learn safety, calm, and connection. Being held, soothed, and physically reassured teaches the body how to settle. Yet as we grow older, this kind of platonic, nurturing touch quietly disappears. Adulthood often brings distance, independence, and productivity—while the body still carries the same need for reassurance. The absence of safe, intentional touch leaves many people overstimulated, disconnected, and perpetually on edge, even when they don’t realize why. Our sessions are designed to re-train the body’s stress response through gentle, sensory-based methods. By combining intentional touch, layered sound, and atmospheric design, we guide the body into a state of complete parasympathetic restoration — where healing and renewal naturally occur
What is the difference between a KAS session and a traditional massage?
A traditional massage targets muscle tension while ASMR aims to create a deeper sense of relaxation in the mind as well as the body
ASMR is not a form of massage in any way. At KAS, our sessions are centered around sound, relaxation, and sensory tools, not bodywork or pressure. There is no kneading or manipulation of muscles of any kind. All sessions are non-invasive, non-medical, and designed solely for relaxation and holistic purposes.
A traditional massage focuses on therapeutic relief through techniques like kneading and deep pressure to ease muscle tension which can often be painful and counter productive to relaxing. In contrast, an ASMR session emphasizes light touch, sensory triggers and soothing sounds to trigger a calming tingling sensation in the body
What to expect
Each KAS Wellness session is a multi-sensory experience designed to soothe both body and mind. Using gentle, specialized tools and intentional sound, the session focuses on calming the nervous system through sensory activation across the chest and arms, scalp and hair, and back. Breath work and gratitude practice are major components of our sessions as well. Some triggers include chopsticks, feathers, golden nails, sensory brushes, and more. Every movement is designed to melt tension while guiding your body into a state of complete serenity. Our sessions are upper body only.
Premium sessions include 30 minutes of lounge time before your session to enhance the experience — slip into a robe, enjoy beverages, meditation activities and more. This is your time to unwind, quiet your thoughts, and allow the mind to prepare for deep relaxation.
We encourage you to come with a clear and open mind, ready to fully surrender to the experience
What should I wear?
We always suggest to undress to your comfort level similar to a massage too avoid anything getting caught on straps or fabric. It is 100% your choice and whatever makes your experience the most comfortable. All ASMR sessions are upper body only, so if you aren’t comfortable undressing, wearing comfortable pants is suggested
